Garden Detectives
Created by Enchantica’s in 2016 to enhance Harlow Carr’s school holiday educational offering to younger visitors, the Garden Detectives have become a firm favourite for many local Harrogate families.
The Garden Detectives specialise in engaging children in horticulture via immersive learning by putting on high quality, professional and engaging events and activities which keep family visitors returning to the gardens again and again.
Our Garden Detectives pose as scientists who enjoy investigating all aspects of the gardens and the living world, bringing these to life via engaging themes and immersive storytelling.
They, along all our additional characters, are played by highly skilled professional actors, who bring a whole range of topics to life via fun, engaging, and immersive educational shows, adventure walks, and activities, all of which imaginatively inform, spark curiosity, and help children to shine bright.
Story Yoga
Enchantica’s Story Yoga is a well-being experience combining children’s theatre with yoga in a family show for all ages.

It is an opportunity for children and grown-ups to enjoy well-being practices by engaging in immersive adventures. Families connect via a shared experience, creating bonds, learning and growing together and supporting each other.
​
Our aim is to activate a passion for yoga and enable families to learn well-being practices by providing them with tools to take away that will support their well-being at home.
​
We can bring our story yoga show to any venue, indoor or out, with additional sound healing if desired.
Storytelling Scarecrows
Introducing our Storytelling Scarecrows, bringing your educational themes to life through whacky stories and immersive, interactive theatre.
​
Our scarecrows love to tell a tale, blending imaginative storytelling with key learning points via memorable shows and experiences.
​
They can appear at all kinds of events from country shows to school fun days. They've even appeared on a tractor ride spotting farm animals as the story unfolds!

School Fun Days
If you're looking to add some magic to your school fete or fun day, or looking for a school workshop or end of term treat for your classes, our team of professionals are here to help.
​
We can bring our Story Yoga, Pre-school Learning Adventures, Garden Detectives, Storytelling Scarecrows or other characters along with a full prepared interactive show to delight your children as they learn.

We can cater to all age-groups from pre-schoolers right up to school leavers.

Great Yorkshire Show
We've been a core part of the Discovery Zone at the Great Yorkshire Show every year since 2012.
​
Our fairy garden and themed soft play are enjoyed by visiting children from far and wide.
Visitors to the fairy garden interact with our friendly fairies while making craft flowers to take home and learning a new craft skill.
In our soft play area, which we've themed in recent years to pirates and scarecrows, toddlers can enjoy some active fun with some climbing up, sliding down and mini-rollercoaster too!

We can set up either activity in any venue or location, indoor or out, so get in touch if you'd like to see these activities at your event.
Countryside Live & Springtime Live
Each Spring and Autumn, we also make an appearance at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society's Springtime Live and Countryside Live events.
​
These education events aim to showcase agricultural learning and themes to family visitors.
​
Our Enchantica's Team bring along some entertainment and magic with themed decoration, crafts and activities, and in spring, our Easter bunnies too!
Countryside Days
Countryside Days is a special event where thousands of Yorkshire school children get to enjoy a learning day at the Yorkshire Event Centre and take part in six of hundreds of interactive sessions held over two days.
​
Enchantica's have been delivering our Wool Story interactive workshop since 2013, following the production of wool from seed to woolly jumper and all the stages in between.
​
Our mix of immersive theatre storytelling and interactive components ensure all children are engaged and delighted as they learn more about wool.
The Green Elf Project
The Green Elf Project is a sustainability show inspiring young school audiences and educational groups to consider recycling options at Christmas in order to get their Green Elf Award.
​
Our aim is to increase awareness of where plastic comes from, it’s impact on the environment, and to introduce the 3 R’s – Reduce – Reuse – Recycle, to encourage more recycling and less waste over the Christmas period and beyond.
​
The show is delivered by our Christmas elves, with help from Father Christmas, and a downloadable activity pack and certificate is available for all attendees.
​
Outside of Christmas, our recycling show can be adapted to all seasons and situations. Please get in touch to see what our team can create for you.
Workshop Classes & Afterschool Clubs
Enchantica's have been running well-being learning adventures for ages 0-11 at Enchantica's Workshop since 2019.

Born in lockdown 2020, our online learning academy brings you some of Enchantica's Suzie Beats and Rising Stars workshop classes for you to enjoy in your own home or learning environment.

Join Fairy Enchantica and her friend Beatie, as they travel around on many fun adventures from their tree top home.
